Buskers by the Creek
‘Buskers by the Creek’ is celebrated as “Australia’s Largest Busking Festival” showcasing over 300 performers on the foreshore of Currumbin Creek, Gold Coast.
The two day, two night event continues to reinvent, recreate and provides a cultural explosion for all who come to “discover the undiscovered”.
From samba struts to Afro-Brazilian drum rhythms, from award winning musicians and talented teens, from swing to sword swallowing, “Buskers by the Creek” this year will see even more incredible entertainment, jaw dropping tricks, daring world record attempts and waterborne magic.
Due to popular demand, their award winning floating half pipe with skateboarding and BMX displays is re-appearing, with award winning athletes already signed to showcase their talents.
The prestigious ‘Battle of the Buskers‘ officially kicks off the festival at Currumbin Pub on Friday 18th October.
Our top festival singer-songwriters will take centre stage to battle it out for the ‘Totally Talented’ title. A unique exhibition featuring world travelled professional busker, Tristan O’Meara’s handmade didgeridoos and unique song writing, will then take centre stage at Balter Brewery on Saturday evening from 6.30pm.
